Our Story
I’d like to personally welcome you to The James Alan Salon & Spa. We are a full-service salon and spa that offers a variety of hair, skin, and body services. While this is not unique, it is our dedicated and professional staff that sets us apart.
I personally began my career as a Cosmetologist 15 years ago and have retained the best clientele anyone could ever ask for. The past eleven years of my career have been spent here at the formerly known Head to Toe Essentials Salon. In January 2022 we transformed the salon into The James Alan Salon and Spa - a blessed dream come true.
I look forward to many more years of making people feel and look beautiful.

Jessica is a master stylist with over 20 years experience working alongside many talented stylists, managed a salon, and has always continued educating herself in the industries ever-evolving trends and techniques. While she has mastered a wide variety of cuts, styling, and color techniques, her passion is working with dimensional color and blonding/balayage services.
Ashley Carmen Quartaro
Massage Therapist & Stylist
Ashley is a licensed massage therapist with over nine years of experience. She also has over 17 years’ experience styling hair.
Dawn Elko
Stylist
Dawn is a veteran hairstylist. She holds a teacher’s license and has experience as a platform artist. She specializes in fine thinning hair.
Lisa Goodness
Stylist
Lisa has over 23 years of experience as a hairstylist. She is a graduate of Wayne County BOCES Cosmetology School. Her specialty is color. She loves it as much today as the day she started.

Julie has over 25 years of experience as a hairstylist. She is well-rounded and gets to know her clients so she can provide the perfect cut, color, and style to meet their needs.

Alyssa is a graduate of the Continental School of Beauty and has been a practicing nail technician ever since. She specializes in hard gel/gel extensions, natural nail gel polish, and pedicures. She loves her craft, customers, and colleagues.

Teri Jo has over 25 years of salon experience. She specializes in acrylic and gel enhancements, Gel Overlay, Gel polish over natural nails, manicures, and pedicures.

Halyna was born in Ukraine and went to the Continental School of Beauty. She became an esthetician starting her career in a medical office. She offers facials, chemical peelings, microdermabrasions, and anti-aging treatments, she makes sure her clients walk off with glowing, beautiful skin.
